What is NWCARE?
Northwest CARE (Caregivers Are Really Exceptional) is an association of Connecticut Licensed Family Home Daycare Providers in the Litchfield County Area, currently serving the towns of: Harwinton, Morris, New Hartford, Torrington, and Winsted.
The objectives of this organization are to provide education and emotional support specially designed for licensed Family Home Day Care providers, to promote positive media attention and public awareness, to gain respect and recognition for our profession, to offer many wonderful, intelligent, caring people who are involved in Family Home Day Care the opportunity to share ideas, feelings and enthusiasm concerning the field of Child Care, to network information to benefit children and the families that we serve.
The key is to communicate, join forces and work on the issues TOGETHER.
